Defining Success

Greetings from WWV, we hope your day is off to an amazing start! Today, we are still on answering God's calling on your life. We sometimes as Christians tend to only hear the overall calling he assigns us to do, and omit the minor directions that follows. Well let's not say omit, we just didn't wait for the other instructions. Those minor details are major instructions that we have to have in order to answer the calling in obedience. Being available to hear from God during this time will take consecration. This is where fasting and praying is not an option, its mandatory! In this process, obedience is all God asks for and you will know without doubt it's from him. We tend to define success as the world would see it , though big accomplishments or major platforms. What if your calling doesn't have a strong platform, would you think it was not God? The answer is no, even when you're doing it for one soul, that one soul makes all the difference in your heavenly father's eyes. In our calling some of us are harvesters, while some of us are planters. Harvesters can see the success while the planter start the process and a harvester finishes it. Now, that's when the faithfulness and obedience through fasting and praying is needed. We have to know which season we are in and know that he will equip us with the tools that we need. Have you ever been on an assignment where you know you're over qualified but, still remained humble until the assignment was completed? This is called an offering, it may not be your calling but, this is the obedience step in your calling. Do we need a round of applause for it to seem like success? Do we give up because we think its meaningless? No, as Christians we all should wait on God and only accept his approval. Let's allow God to show us success in his eyes because, your assignment may only be for one person . Now, when God gives his seal of approval it will be all the more. And let us not grow weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. Galatians 6:9 And we desire that each one of you may show the same deligence unto the fullness of hope even to the end . Hebrews 6:11
