Kidnapper Ant

Greetings from WWV, we hope your day is off to an amazing start! Our scripture text for the sermon on today came from I Timothy 3:8-16 and John 10:10-18. The Psalms of the day is Psalms 119:17. Deal bountifully with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word.

Our ant discussed today is the Kidnapper Ant, they raid other species colonies to abduct their young and take them back to their nest. When the enslaved babies grow up, the kidnappers trick them into serving their captors by hunting, cleaning the nest, or even chewing up their food for them .They are great investors in their future by storing up food during the summer. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. Matthew 6:19

The FYI for today will be brought to you by our very own First Lady Joy Massenburge, she spoke on the care and treatment for hemorrhoids. Warm baths, sitting in the tub can help ease the swelling and reduce irritation. Witch hazel, is a natural astringent and it causes tissue to shrink. It also has antioxidant and anti- inflammatory properties. So simply take a sanitary napkin and pour the witch hazel at the back end of the napkin. In addition, ice packs can also help numb the pain and temporarily reduce swelling.
