Are You Totally Yielded

Greetings from WWV, we hope your day is off to an amazing start! Sunday's serman came from John 10:10-21 and I Timothy 3:8-13, being totally yielded to God. We cannot be yielded to God without the Holy Spirit, submit to it. In other words we have to rest, rule, and abide. Rest in knowing God knows best. Rule, obeying the commandments and the laws of the land. Abide to remain stable and accept what God says over your life.

Our Psalm for today is Psalm 119:89-91. Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth and it abides. They continue this day according to Your ordinances, For all are Your servants. We need to be like our Father who gave his life to save his flock, not like the Hireling who flee when the sheep are attacked. We also should never be double tongued, what you say you do! The vows you make you keep them, finish what you start!

Our Ant for today is the Drone Ant, these male ants are produced from an unfertilized egg. Like the queen they have wings but, they are much smaller antennae. They only emerge from the colony for one day, the day they are to mate. After he mates he dies because he has served his purpose, to inseminate the queen.
