Persistence

Greetings from WWV, we hope your day is off to an amazing start. Today we continued our discussion out of the book " The Richest Man Who Ever Lived" by Steven K. Scott. We learned that hard work doesn't always pay off. For example; we may be doing a great thing , but it's not what God called us to do. When this happens, usually it's a task that seems like everything that could go wrong did. Most of the time when God is absent from the situation, it appears to be hard, time consuming, and aggravating.

In seeking God for our calling, Steven K. Scott gives us four principals to go follow.

1. Wake up to reality.

How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep: So shall thy poverty come as a robber, And thy want as an armed man. Proverbs 6:9-11

2. Define your vision,without a vision people will perish. He that tilleth his land shall have plenty of bread. Proverbs 28:19

3. Effective partnership, having people in your life that can help you with your calling. Where there is no counsel, purposes are disappointed; But in the multitude of counsellors they are established. Proverbs 15:22

4.Pursue wisdom and build your life upon it. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! Yea, to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver. Proverbs 16:16
